Bauhaus cancel North American tour; Peter Murphy enters rehab

Bauhaus have canceled their North American tour.

The band's highly anticipated tour was scheduled to kick off September 6th in Toronto, however the tour will not go on as planned in order for Peter Murphy to enter rehab. The tour cancellation was confirmed today by a representative of the band who offered up the following press statement:

"Following a string of critically-hailed reunion shows across continents, Peter Murphy will be entering a rehabilitation facility to attend to his health and well being."

Bauhaus have not shared an official statement regarding the tour cancellation on social media as of yet.

Murphy has struggled long and hard over the years with addiction. Though a tour cancellation is disappointing for fans, it is wonderful news that Murphy is taking a huge step to restoring his health, both mentally and physically.
