'Moonage Daydream' advance screenings announced

Excitement continues to build for the global premiere of the David Bowie film Moonage Daydream.

Moonage Daydream is the first officially sanctioned David Bowie film and celebrates Bowie and his art, music, and films with an incredible soundtrack and previously unseen concert footage of Bowie in action. The film, directed by Brett Morgen premiered earlier this year to rave reviews at Cannes and has been hailed as a cinematic audio-visual space odyssey; something best viewed on a huge screen and sound system.

The global premiere of Moonage Daydream has been set for September 16th, however early access IMAX screenings for the film were announced today. The advance screenings will take place on Monday, September 12th in select cities around the world, including many locations in the U.S.

The Detroit/Michigan screenings will take place in the following cities: Livonia (AMC), Ann Arbor (Cinemark), Grand Blanc (NCG Cinema), and Grand Rapids (Celebration Cinema).

Pre-sale tickets for the advance screenings are on sale now and will be available through tomorrow (August 23rd) at 11pm ET. Head here to pre-order advance tickets.
