Placebo announce limited edition "Shout" 7" + launch new color

Placebo announced a double A side single.

The limited edition single features their Tears For Fears cover of "Shout" on the A side, with their 2003 cover of the Kate Bush classic "Running Up That Hill" as the AA side. The limited edition 7" single is the first time their "Shout" has been released on vinyl; it's also a rare opportunity to obtain "Running Up That Hill" on vinyl.

The cover art for the 7" was created by British artist Stuart Semple, who has been a huge fan of Placebo for years. Semple concocted a special purple/blue/black color just for the project. What has he named this new shimmery color? Placebo, just like the band.

Additionally Placebo and Semple are selling a limited number of Placebo paint bottles. Each 100 mL bottle was handmade in Semple's studio and features its own special collectible packaging including an embossed Placebo logo.

The limited edition 7" single and limited edition Placebo paint bottles are available to pre-order now. Both items will be released on December 1st.
